Treel Privacy Policy

At Techery LLC, we adhere to all the applicable provisions regarding processing of personal data and constantly follow the updates, particularly in terms of the California Consumer Privacy Act.

To share our privacy approaches, we have drafted this Privacy Policy. Following your use of Servicer, this Privacy Policy will apply to your use of the Services, the scope of which is defined in the Agreement. The Agreement, a basic document between us, can be accessed following this link. This Privacy Policy is an integral part of the Agreement.

In this Privacy Policy, we tried to explain which information we collect, which purposes stand behind such decisions and how the latter can affect you. Before using the Services and registering your account, we kindly ask you to read this Privacy Policy carefully, so we can be calm that you completely understand the conditions under which we would cooperate.

In this document, the the words "our", "we", "us" and "Company" refer to the Techery LLC, whilst "you" "your" and "User" have been chosen to refer to you as a data subject and, in relevant parts, a data controller in the course of using the Services.

Personal Information and its Processing

We adhere to the following definition and scope of the personal information that derives from the applicable laws:

"Personal information (or "data") includes any information that identifies, relates to, describes, is capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular person, in particular, a consumer." Personal information traditionally includes, in particular, a phone number, your first and last name, email address used in the course of Services provision.

By "processing of the information" we understand any action(s), performed on personal data, regardless of whether by automatic means or not. Among others, processing activity covers collection and storage carried out by the Company.

Please note, however, that by the notion of "personal information" does not traditionally cover anonymous information. Likewise, this Privacy Policy does not cover the processing your activity, such as collection of personal information by your contacts in address book.

Information Processed within the Application

Your account

When you register in the Application, we collect your phone number to facilitate your registration via authentication code, sent to this number, and further interaction with other contacts within the Application. In addition, you can add your first and last name to the account as well as email address to better interact with other Users and other contacts.

Please note that your phone number and other personal information which you voluntarily provide for the Application may be available to anyone who uses our Services, subject to the limitations, contained within the Application.

Address book

Upon registration, you agree to synchronize your contacts in the mobile phone address book with the Application. The contacts could belong to both Users and non-Users of the Application. You agree to synchronize such data on a regular basis. Users with whom you communicate may collect and further process your information (including your phone number or messages) with others, particularly outside the Services. 

You confirm that you have necessary authorization to provide us with such data. You also acknowledge that you are a data controller regarding such data and that we process them only per your instructions. Therefore, our liability for any breaches of the applicable data protection laws in terms of such data is limited only to the liability of the processor of such data.

Communication

If you use the Services via iOS, we have access solely to your communications via Treel, and we lose such access when the latter is deleted from the Application. If you use the Services via Android, we have access to all your communications with the contacts which you expressly marked as your prospects and customers. We lose access to such data when the latter is deleted from the Application.

Web technologies

For analyzing, customizing and taking other actions to improve the Services, we can use Mixpanel or Google Analytics.

Changes to the scope

Should we have changed to the scope of data processed or purposes for such processing, we will immediately modify this Privacy Policy in a clear and transparent manner. We may also inform you on such changes via means of communication we choose at our discretion.

Your Responsibility

Our Services have not been developed to be used in any unlawful or wrongful actions. If you intentionally or with negligence use the Services to process personal information without the lawful basis or otherwise violate applicable laws, this Privacy Policy or the Agreement, you remain solely liable for any damage caused by such actions and indemnify us against any possible liability in this respect.

Privacy Policy Updates

We may amend or update this Privacy Policy from time to time, updating "Last Modified" date at the top of this Privacy Policy. Your further use of this Privacy Policy will confirm your acceptance of this Privacy Policy as amended. Should you disagree with this document, you must stop using the Services.

We hope this Privacy Policy helped you to understand how your personal data will be dealt with here at the Company. We will take care of it, so you can explore our Application and not be concerned about your privacy.
